The writers over at The Onion are so hilarious. How do they come up with this stuff? Here are two of my favorites on the government shutdown...
This morning on Morning Edition, I heard an interview with The Blind Boys of Alabama and Justin Vernon. It was about their new album. Well worth listening to. During the interview, a band members shares one of his favorite quotes: "The mind is like a parachute. It works better when it's open." Love that.
And here's a link to their song, "I'll Find a Way." I found the video extremely heart-warming. And now I love Justin Vernon even more.
